Operating a marijuana business is undoubtedly profitable, but it comes with its risks. There are rules and regulations in place that must be adhered to.  The laws are very complex and understanding of the dispensary ordinance is required.  But what will happen if you fail to follow the rules?  Regardless of the state in which you operate, there are dire consequences for not following the rules and dispensary ordinance.  Dispensaries and marijuana businesses that fail to follow the ordinance will be shut down and the method of shutting down has been outlined in the ordinance.

The standard of operating and maintaining a dispensary business must not be violated.  If there is any violation, then the business will be subject to proceedings and will also face penalties.  The city in which you are operating a marijuana business has the right to enforce laws and they will also respond to the complaints that they receive against you.  For example, if you are operating within the city limits, you will be liable for prosecution.  To protect your business and to prevent yourself from getting into problems with the law, you must take the initiative to understand the dispensary ordinance and the laws that surround the marijuana industry.
